Privacy

No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Here’s everything YATZY keeps, and for how long.

Your name
The name you type at a table is saved with that table and shown to everyone seated there. Your browser also remembers it for next time. In solo games and Real dice scoring, names stay on your device unless you share a result.
The seat cookie
Joining a table sets one cookie, named ytz_ plus the table code. It holds a random token that tells the server which seat is yours, and we keep only a hash of it. It isn’t used for tracking and expires after 30 days.
Your IP address
To stop abuse, we count how often each IP address starts and joins tables. We store a hash of the address, not the address itself, and a nightly cleanup deletes these counts once they’re a day old.
Where it’s stored
Everything above is stored in Singapore. Vercel hosts the site and runs the server; the database is Supabase. They handle this data for us and nothing else.
Links you share
Share result makes a link with each player’s name, face and total written into it. We don’t save it: anyone with the link can see them, and chat apps show them in its preview. A table link’s preview shows the host’s name and face until the game ends, then everyone’s names and totals.
Error reports
If something breaks, a report of what went wrong goes to Sentry. Reports include the page address and your kind of browser and device. They’re set up to leave out your IP address, cookies and anything you type. Sentry stores them outside Singapore and deletes them within 90 days.
When it’s deleted
A table nobody has touched for 7 days is deleted with its names, scores and seats. The same nightly cleanup does it.
